Manufacturers’ Warranties

We are an after-warranty repair service. If your appliance has failed while it is still under warranty, your best option is to contact the manufacturer of the appliance and go through their repair service in order to receive free service.

It is important to be mindful of your warranty situation before having an after-warranty repair company come and repair your appliance. In some cases this could void the manufacturer warranty. Be aware that some models may feature longer manufacturer warranties than are commonly offered. If you have an extended warranty on the appliance, call the warranty provider (often the retailer you purchased the appliance from) and they will help you arrange for a repair. Likewise, some home insurance policies cover appliance repair, so consider calling the insurance company if you are unsure.

Certain appliance parts are very well-built and rarely fail except in cases of damage or misuse. These parts (for example, refrigerator compressors), are rock-solid and generally more expensive to replace — however they are rarely the cause of appliance problems due to their high build quality. These underlying parts are often given longer warranties than the appliance itself.
